Our Veterinarians

Dr. Amanda McNutt

Amanda McNutt, DVM

Dr. Amanda graduated from veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada after attending undergraduate school in Staten Island, NY, where she grew up. Heath and Amanda met in veterinary school and, from there, moved to Vermont after they graduated.

While in Vermont, they worked in different clinics and had three little girls, and then a son, after moving to Maine. They quickly realized they wanted to own a clinic and work together, so they began that journey. Heath and Amanda purchased Village Veterinary Clinic in Rollinsford, NH, in 2019 and enjoyed sharing this life together.

In February 2025, Heath and Amanda took over ownership at Village Veterinary so that they could continue to grow and involve themselves in multiple communities along the Seacoast. Dr. Amanda is primarily working in York, ME, but will still continue to see patients in NH. She is very excited to meet new clients and patients at Village Veterinary in York.

Amanda’s favorite thing to do outside work is to spend time with Heath and their four children. They enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, and going to the beach together. They look forward to growing and continuing to serve veterinary communities for years to come.

Pamela Bluestone, DVM

Pamela Bluestone, DVM

Dr. Bluestone hails from a suburb of New York City and did her undergraduate and DVM studies at Cornell University. She then moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she lived for 21 years before moving back to Maine. While in Alaska, she became interested in alternative therapies to offer more well-rounded care to her patients, and completed her acupuncture training with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 2015. She enjoys continuing her studies in acupuncture as well as studying Chinese herbal medications to complement traditional Western medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Bluestone loves to walk on the beach, garden, cuddle with her dogs, and usually needs some sort of creative outlet, which currently involves metalsmithing and jewelry making. She has two grown sons who are attending local colleges and keep her company at home. She is happy to be back in the Northeast, which has always felt like her true home, and enjoys the beauty of Maine and all it has to offer.

HEATH-MCNUTT

Heath McNutt, DVM

Our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants

Diane Lavigne

Diane Lavigne, Veterinary Assistant

Diane has been providing care to pets at Village Veterinary since October 2019. After raising her three children, Diane decided to follow her passion and help animals. She got certified as a veterinary assistant in 2011 from Animal Behavioral College. In 2018, Diane was certified Fear Free after successfully completing a 9-hour course.

Diane has three grown children: Jessica, Rodney, and Angela. She also has six grandchildren. She shares her home with her cats Birdie and Gamora. In her free time, Diane loves spending time with her family and friends. She also likes to watch movies and going out to eat.

Angela Lavigne

Angela Lavigne, Veterinary Technician

Angela is Diane’s daughter. Growing up with her mom she always had a love for animals. In 2019 she graduated from Plymouth State University with a BA in painting. While going to college she worked in a kennel where she took care of boarding and adoptable pets. There she decided working with animals is what she actually wanted to pursue. After hiking half the Appalachian trail she joined the Village Vet team in 2021. At home she hangs out with her cat Bunny and her bearded dragon Tony.

Morgan Gage

Morgan Gage, Veterinary Technician

Morgan started her veterinary technician training at Medaille College in Buffalo, NY, then moved back home to NH, finishing her schooling at Great Bay Community College in May 2022.

Summer camp at the NHSPCA as a child was instrumental in determining Morgan’s desire to become a veterinary technician as well as igniting her love of animals. Morgan worked as a kennel technician for 2 ½ years before joining the team at Village Veterinary as a veterinary technician and is our main receptionist. She is always looking for ways to make our animal patients feel better, as well as help their owners. Morgan has a Golden Retriever named Ginger, a wirehaired fox terrier mix named Jessie, and a black and white Tuxedo cat named Lila.

She loves spending her free time reading books, hanging out with family and friends and camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. You can also find her out on the water fishing either the lakes or sea.
